Ginger is my favorite Asian root vegetable and I use it in so many recipes, so I had to make a summer drink with it. Here’s a healthy and refreshing summer smoothie with fresh strawberries, flavored with a kick of ginger, lemon and limeIngredients
- 2 pounds Fresh Strawberries, Stems Removed, Sliced In Half
- 1 piece (3 To 4-inch Size) Ginger, Peeled, Sliced Into 1/2-inch Pieces
- 2 whole Lemons, Juiced
- 1 whole Lime, Juiced
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 cup Water
- Ice, As Needed
Preparation
Place all ingredients (except ice) in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add a tray of ice and blend again for no more than 5 seconds.In a large pitcher, add another tray of ice and pour in smoothie.
